On 19 Nov he will conduct a programme based on the year 1945 with CBSO at Symphony Hall

Copland: Appalachian Spring – Suite
Strauss: Oboe Concerto
Shostakovich: Symphony No. 9
The soloist in the Strauss is the brilliant ICA artist François Leleux.
The following week Nicholas will be in Manchester with the BBC Philharmonic at Bridgewater Hall
Berlioz: Ov. Béatrice et Bénédict
Brahms: Violin Concerto in D major
Stravinsky: Symphony in Three Movements
Ravel: La valse
James Ehnes is the violin soloist.
In December Nicholas travels to the Continent for return visits with Münchener Kammerorchester and the Residentie Orchestra and makes his debut with Brussels Philharmonic. He ends the year with two performances of Fauré Requiem with Aurora Orchestra & Voices at Kings Place.
