Nicholas returns to the stage in Paris with Orchestre National de France on 10 December to conduct the French premiere of Thierry Escaich’s Viola Concerto.
Antoine Tamestit is the featured soloist in the Viola Concerto, La Nuit des chants, concerto for viola. Also on the programme is Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony.
The performance will be without an audience at Maison de la Radio, but broadcast on France Musique at 8pm CET on 10 December.
