Following on from his successful BBC Prom at the beginning of September, Nicholas returns to the Netherlands for three concerts with Residentie Orkest at the The Concertgebouw, the Zuiderstrandtheater, and TivoliVredenburg. The concerts take place on 20-22 September and feature a variety of music from Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1 with Kirill Gerstein and Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances to Ravel Daphnis et Chloé Suite and Boléro.
On 28 September, Nicholas joins Aurora Orchestra, pianist Ronald Brautigam and saxophonist Amy Dickson for a concert at London’s King’s Place with a programme featuring James MacMillan Saxophone Concerto, Mozart Piano Concerto No.20 and Mendelssohn Symphony No.3, ‘Scottish’.
