In March, Nicholas returns to the Residentie Orkest to lead concerts across the Netherlands. He conducts Rachmaninov Symphony No.3 as well as Dvořák Waldesruhe and Tchaikovsky Variations on a Rococo Theme with cellist Kian Soltani.
Beginning at the Zuiderstrandtheater in the The Hague on 1 March; they perform the same repertoire at De Doelen in Rotterdam and Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht on 2 and 3 March respectively. On 28 March, they return to the Zuiderstrandtheater to perform Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5 and join Fazil Say on 29 March for Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto.
