Nicholas and the Aurora Orchestra make their debut at La Seine Musicale in Paris on 24 June with an all-Mozart programme, presenting their unique performance style of playing a symphony entirely from memory, with the iconic Symphony No.40. Completing the programme, Cédric Tiberghien joins the orchestra for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.13.
On 1 July, Nicholas conducts the orchestra again through a memorised performance of Symphony No.40 and Piano Concerto No.13 at King’s Place, London, alongside Stravinsky’s neo-classical ‘Dumbarton Oaks’ and Boulez’s Mémoriale with Jane Mitchell, flute.
