JUNE CONCERTS IN THE UK

This month Nicholas conducts the Aurora Orchestra in three concerts across the UK with a programme featuring a new work by Max Richter entitled Journey (CP1919) to be performed in the dark, and Thomas Adès’ Violin Concerto Concentric Paths which will be played by Pekka Kuusisto. The programme also includes Mozart Symphony No. 41, ‘Jupiter’, and Beethoven String Quartet No. 8  ‘Rasumovsky’. They begin the tour on 1 June at Kent’s Colyer-Fergusson Concert Hall before heading to Birmingham Town Hall on 4 June followed by London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on 5 June.
