Nicholas and the Aurora Orchestra begin their second season of Mozart’s piano concerti at Kings Place on 18 March. Pianist Imogen Cooper makes her debut with the orchestra, performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.9, ‘Jeunehomme’, considered to be the composer’s first masterpiece.
The programme also features Beethoven’s Symphony No.2, receiving its first ever performance in Kings Place, and Schumann’s beautiful Six Canonic Studies, rearranged for chamber orchestra by Robin Holloway.
